General information about Grace Community Church, in Olivia, MN is available by use of the various links of the web site, however registration will be required when and if we allow you to post in the members area. While the Sharing God’s Grace website is a family friendly website and good for all ages, because of these terms of use you must be 18 years of age or older to post on this site, and this page serves as a contract for our terms of use. Sharing God’s Grace website is owned and managed by Grace Community Church, of Olivia Minnesota, which is a non profit religious organization, our address and contact information is listed below. The views, opinions, and links of this site and those that post here, may offend some viewers. We are not responsible for content on other sites, or the views and content others may post, in text, links, or photo’s, however we reserve the right to edit, move, delete or even band any user or information that is posted on this site, that by our discretion we feel don’t belong here, or was posted in the wrong area. Community members understand that, notwithstanding our commitment to providing the safest and most Christian values sensitive community environment possible, participating in the online community is done at one's own risk. Young children should never participate alone and Grace Community Church cannot be responsible for the safety of children in community areas. You will not use this web site to distribute, link to, or solicit content that is unlawful; harmful to minors; threatening; harassing; abusive; defamatory; vulgar; gratuitously violent; pornographic; obscene; libelous; invasion of another’s privacy; racially; ethnically; or otherwise offensive; violates any law; regulation or contract; constitutes any form of gambling; constitutes any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising; bulk, junk, Spam email; chain letters; or any unsolicited commercial communications; contains software viruses; or other computer codes files or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment. When you link to any other site in any form from this site, you agree that you will not knowingly link to any site that contain links to the above mention offensive material as well. Please do not use community areas to air your grievances against other fellow members. It is expected that members can discuss topics without resorting to name calling or the use of such terminology, either to each other or in reference to Grace Community Church or its members. Furthermore you hold Grace Community Church, our users, and staff, harmless and waive any claim for your exposure to; and or the results thereof, any offensive or otherwise objectionable content, either directly or indirectly, and for any lost in using this site. Spaming of any kind will not be tolerated, and the spammers could be charged as allowed by law. You may not post or transmit either in the community, or through any form of communication provide through this web site, any unsolicited advertising of websites, products or promotional materials or any other forms of solicitation. This is not a site for personal ads or “Hook-Up” activity. We want this Community to be a fun place to learn and interact with others from a Christian view. If you have a problem with someone either take it up with them privately or report the violation. At no time are we obligated to pay you any royalties or other monies for anything you post on our site. Please report any possible violation of these terms to the webmaster.
User names and Passwords:
Only members who have registered with full registration data including real name and a valid e-mail address are permitted in some member community areas. Failure to register, or registration with false information, especially misrepresentation of email address, or other contact information is grounds for immediate blocking of access. Additionally, it is the member's responsibility to update and maintain a valid email address with their membership. Some areas require use of a user name and password. You’re solely responsible for the content posted with your user name, including in your email to us, or to our users, so we strongly advise that you do not give out or allow others access to your user name or password. Creating a handle or making comments that are sexually suggestive will not be allowed. Use of multiple names is limited to no more than two usernames. Given the benefits of anonymity in discussing certain personal issues, which may appropriately be discussed in some community settings, use of a different username to protect privacy may be appropriate. Community volunteers may also wish to use different identities for monitoring and personal interaction. However, individuals who have been banned are not permitted to create a new account as a way to circumnavigate the consequences for violations of these terms of use. We reserve the right to terminate any new accounts which have been established in this manner as well as remove any content posted, in addition we may band use of access, by blocking your IP address. Your content cannot be for items or content that is illegal, or non conforming to Internet, state and U.S. federal laws. In using this site you understand that any content you post, or list to this site will become the property of Grace Community Church, unless otherwise noted, and you assign all ownership rights and interest of such property to Grace Community Church. You also agree not to post items that are copyrighted or other intellectual property rights of any other person. Posting entire articles is prohibited, even if the copyright holder has granted permission. Instead please only post a portion of the article with a link to read the rest. Referring to particular vulgar terms or words in any manner that brings them to mind such as purposefully misspelling or using symbols to suggest bad language or referring to something by a letter that identifies the word is unacceptable, as are some commonly used slang terms. You will not harass, threaten, embarrass or distress members, either in the community itself or via personal email, phone, physical mail or in person. You will not engage in name-calling or personal attacks in the course of discussion or debate. You will not post inflammatory remarks simply for the purpose for evoking reaction or starting fights with other community members. Overall, promoting a spirit of divisiveness in the community will not be tolerated. Discussion of sexual issues in any other than a serious and responsible manner is prohibited including "flirtatious" consensual conversation of an intimate nature.
Your Information:
When you submit forms, letters, or email to us, we use your personal information in our office and for website management only and will not sell or give this information to anyone, except in violation of these terms, your information may be given to law enforcement in the event of unlawful acts, or if we feel you're threatening or endangering either yourself or someone else. We may use this information as well as information submitted through Grace Community Church, to confirm your access rights to certain areas of the website. In use of this site, you agree that the information you send, log in with, or post anywhere on this site will be true and kept correct. When you submit forms, or log in any posting area your IP address is recorded, to prevent abuse to this site, and it's users. When you go to other linked sites, they may also request other information from you. We are not responsible for any use, harm, or abuse, of this information that may come to you by a third party. When you submit your information to register, it may take up to 24 hours (excluding holidays & weekends) as all information is verified before access is granted.
